Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education and IESCO Celebrate UCAS Gaza Students’ Training Achievement
The International Education Scientific and Cultural Organization (IESCO), in partnership with the Department of Polytechnic Education and Community Colleges under Malaysia’s Ministry of Higher Education and the University College of Applied Sciences (UCAS), Gaza, participated in a major ceremony celebrating innovation and educational achievement in Malaysia.
The ceremony, Majlis Anugerah Inovasi Pembelajaran Digital Politeknik dan Kolej Komuniti (eDOLA) XIV 2026, was held in Shah Alam on 15 September 2026 under the theme “Human Vision, Agentic Action.”
The event also recognized the completion of vocational training by 30 students from Gaza, who participated in training programmes designed to strengthen their practical skills and enhance their readiness for the labour market.
The collaboration between IESCO, Malaysia’s Polytechnic Education and Community Colleges, and UCAS provides Palestinian students with access to 56 training programmes, supporting skills development across key academic and professional fields.
The partnership reflects the shared commitment of the three institutions to expanding educational opportunities for Palestinian students, strengthening vocational education, and developing sustainable programmes that contribute to their academic and professional futures.
