Celebrated on October 11th, International Day of the Girl Child will shine a spotlight on the incredible potential and achievements of girls around the world.

This day serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of empowering girls with education, healthcare, and opportunities to thrive.

We need to nurture and protect our girls so that they can flourish to become the best version and not to exploit them in any ways!!!

In 2024, the theme will likely continue to focus on advocating for girls' rights and amplifying their voices through innovative programs and initiatives.

As communities and organizations come together to celebrate, they also reflect on the challenges that girls face globally, such as access to quality education and gender equality.

By supporting the dreams and ambitions of girls, we lay the foundation for a more equitable and prosperous future for girls!

Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year filled with abundance of happiness! #2024

*Human Rights Day Exclusive*

Padma Shri Anuradha Koirala is the founder of Maiti Nepal, a non-profit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking in Nepal.

Maiti Nepal was established in 1993, and since then, Anuradha Koirala and her organization have been actively involved in various initiatives to rescue and provide support to victims of human trafficking.
They work towards preventing trafficking, prosecuting traffickers, and ensuring the rehabilitation and reintegration of survivors into society.

As her work aligns with the principles of human rights, especially in the context of protecting individuals from exploitation and ensuring their right to live a life free from violence and coercion, on World Human Rights Day, which is observed annually on December 10th,
we are bringing an exclusive Q&A from Mdm Anuradha who is fondly known as Dijju. She has a message for youngvwomen out there. Swipe👉

Anuradha Koirala's work serves as a powerful example of grassroots activism and dedication to promoting and protecting human rights, particularly for those who are vulnerable to exploitation and abuse. The day is an opportunity to raise awareness about human rights issues globally and to encourage individuals and organizations to take action in promoting a world where everyone's rights are respected and upheld.

It was yet another remarkable year for YWILD Malaysia as we participated at the Malaysia Youth SDG Summit 2023 as strategic partners.
The Summit was nothing short of inspiring as always but this year was more significant with alarming reports from the key speakers from the UN and Ministry of Youth & Sports indicating the urgency of implementing SDGs at grassroot levels.
It was shocking to hear that we are at the stage of 'rescuing SDGs" as we are far behind in achieving the targets for every SDG except .
MALAYSIA is ranked at 78 out of 166 countries in achieving the .
Therefore, youths are urged to take immediate and practical actions in spreading awareness about SDG and continue to translate those SDGs plans into measurable actions among communities. As the theme of the year goes; "Building Inclusive Communities & Localizing SDGs in Msia" we need to collectively come together to uphold SDG' practices at every level - starting with YOU💪🏼

Thanking for the amazing opportunity as always.
