Lung Foundation of Malaysia The Lung Foundation of Malaysia (LFM)(725998-P) is a non-profit Foundation established in 2006.

In LFM, we offer support for patients afflicted with lung diseases so that they can lead a better quality of life with minimal suffering. The objectives of this foundation are:

i) To receive and administer funds for education, research and charitable purposes in relation to respiratory diseases for the public's welfare,

ii) To contribute towards scientific research, teaching, training and public

ation for the purpose of improving the knowledge, skills and care for patients in Malaysia,

iii) To organise and support schemes for the improvement of the standard of care of patients with lung diseases in this country, and

iv) To assist in the giving of relief to patients with chronic lung diseases.

LUNG FOUNDATION OF MALAYSIA: APPLICATIONS FOR LFM RESEARCH SUPPORT GRANTS 2025 NOW OPEN

The Lung Foundation of Malaysia is pleased to invite applications for five (5) research support grants (previously known as LFM Travel Grant) to attend the Annual Congress of the Malaysian Thoracic Society (MTS 2025) to be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, KL City Centre, Kuala Lumpur from 14th August – 17th August 2025.
1. To qualify for this grant, applicants must present a scientific paper (either oral or poster presentation) in any area of respiratory medicine.
2. Proof of acceptance of submission from the organizing committee is required.
3. The offer is open to healthcare providers including specialists, research fellows, clinical fellows, medical officers, pharmacist, nurses, paramedics and medical students.
4. Applicants need not be a member of MTS and should not receive any financial support from other sources for the purpose of attending the conference.
All applications must reach the Lung Foundation of Malaysia ([email protected]) by 5.00pm, 18th July 2025.
