မိသားစုနဲ့ တွေ့ဆုံခွင့်ပေးပြီး ချက်ချင်းလွှတ်ပေးပါ
ဒီနေ့ဟာ မျှော်လင့်ချက်ကို ယူဆောင်လာပါတယ်။
အပြည်ပြည်ဆိုင်ရာ ကြက်ခြေနီကော်မတီ (ICRC) မှ ကျွန်တော့်မေမေ ဒေါ်အောင်ဆန်းစုကြည်နဲ့ တွေ့ဆုံခဲ့တယ်ဆိုတဲ့ သတင်းတွေကို ကျွန်တော် ကြိုဆိုပါတယ်။ ဒီသတင်းကို အတည်ပြုနိုင် မယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ ဒါဟာ ငါးနှစ်ကျော်အတွင်း မေမေနဲ့ ပတ်သက်တဲ့ အပြုသဘောဆောင်တဲ့ ပထမဆုံးတိုးတက်မှု ဖြစ်ပါလိမ့်မယ်။
ကျွန်တော့်မိသားစုနဲ့အတူ ရပ်တည်ပေးခဲ့ကြတဲ့သူအားလုံးကို၊ အထူးသဖြင့် Proof of Life လှုပ်ရှားမှုမှာ ပါဝင်ပေးခဲ့ကြသူ အားလုံးကို ကျွန်တော် အထူးကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ်။
အားလုံးရဲ့အသံထွက်ပြောဆိုကြိုးပမ်းပေးမှုနဲ့အတူ အာဆီယံနဲ့ နိုင်ငံတကာအသိုင်းအဝိုင်းရဲ့ ဖိအားပေးမှုကြောင့် ကျွန်တော့်မေမေရဲ့ကိစ္စဟာ နိုင်ငံတကာရဲ့ အာရုံစိုက်မှုအောက်မှာ ဆက်ပြီးရှိနေနိုင်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။
ဒါဟာ အရေးပါတဲ့ပထမခြေလှမ်းဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဒါပေမဲ့ နောက်ဆုံးခြေလှမ်းမဖြစ်စေရပါဘူး။
ဒီအခြေအနေကနေ လူသားချင်းစာနာမှုဆိုင်ရာ တိုးတက်မှုတွေ ဆက်လက်ဖြစ်ပေါ်လာဖို့ ကျွန်တော် မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်။ အဲဒီထဲမှာ မေမေနဲ့ တိုက်ရိုက်စကားပြောခွင့်ရရှိရေး၊ မိသားစုနဲ့ တွေ့ဆုံခွင့်ရရှိရေး၊ မေမေရဲ့ ကျန်းမာရေးအခြေအနေကို ယုံကြည်စိတ်ချရပြီး လွတ်လပ်စွာ အတည်ပြုနိုင်တဲ့ သတင်းအချက်အလက်ရရှိရေးနဲ့ နိုင်ငံရေးအကျဉ်းသားအားလုံးနဲ့အတူ မေမေ့ကို ချက်ချင်းနဲ့ ခြွင်းချက်မရှိ လွှတ်ပေးရေးတို့ ပါဝင်ပါတယ်။

Today brings hope.
I welcome reports that the ICRC has met my mother, Daw Aung San Suu Kyi. If confirmed, this would be the first positive development concerning her in more than five years.
I am deeply grateful to everyone who has stood with my family, especially those who supported the Proof of Life campaign. Your voices, together with the growing efforts of ASEAN and the international community, have helped keep my mother's plight in the global spotlight.
This is an important first step, but it must not be the last. I hope it leads to greater humanitarian access, direct contact with my mother, credible and independently verified information about her wellbeing, and ultimately her immediate and unconditional release, together with all political prisoners.
