Kelab Sekretariat Rukun Negara Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Malaysia (SRN IIUM) telah ditubuhkan pada tahun 2009, bernaung di bawah Kementerian Perpaduan Negara dan berdaftar di Bahagian Hal Ehwal Pelajar dan Pembangunan (STADD) IIUM.

JOINT MEDIA STATEMENT RELATED TO A THEATER INCIDENT INVOLVING MOCKERY OF RUKUN NEGARA

Assalamualaikum WBT, Salam Sejahtera and Salam Perpaduan,

Sekretariat Rukun Negara IIUM, together with several SRNs throughout Malaysia and other student bodies, would like to express our concern and disappointment towards an incident involving a theater performance that mocked the principles of Rukun Negara and incite hatred among Malaysians, which was a past incident but once again circulated by some irresponsible parties.

As students, we believe that differences of opinion, criticism, and creativity are part of a mature social democracy. However, the freedom must be exercised and benefitted to shape mutual understanding and harmonization, not to enlargen the societal gap. Rukun Negara is a National Ideology that must remain to be the property of all Malaysians.

Tuan Burhanuddin bin Haji Daud, Pengarah Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional (JPNIN) Negeri Selangor, atas segala kepimpinan, khidmat bakti dan komitmen yang telah dicurahkan sepanjang menerajui JPNIN Negeri Selangor.

Sepanjang tempoh perkhidmatan, jasa dan sumbangan YBrs. Tuan dalam memperkukuh agenda perpaduan serta memupuk keharmonian dalam masyarakat amatlah dihargai.

Puan Salasiah binti Hashim, Mantan Pengarah, Bahagian Dasar dan Perancangan JPNIN, atas pelantikan sebagai Pengarah Jabatan Perpaduan Negara dan Integrasi Nasional (JPNIN) Negeri Selangor, berkuat kuasa mulai 17 September 2026.

SRN IIUM merakamkan ucapan selamat menjalankan amanah dan tanggungjawab dalam menerajui usaha memperkukuh perpaduan serta integrasi nasional di Negeri Selangor.

This National Day, let us not merely celebrate our independence, but live the values that hold us together: respecting one another, embracing our differences, and standing united as one Malaysian nation.

As students and future leaders, let us continue to embody the spirit of Rukun Negara, strengthen the bonds of unity among us, and contribute towards a harmonious, progressive, and resilient Malaysia.

Assalamualaikum WBT, Salam Sejahtera and Salam Perpaduan,

“Indeed, in the Messenger of Allah you have an excellent example…” (al-Ahzab, 33: 21)

The life of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a timeless example of compassion, justice, respect and unity. Through his Sunnah, we learn that differences should not divide us, but become a foundation for building a harmonious and united society.

As we commemorate Maulidur Rasul 1448H, let us renew our love for Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) by embodying his noble character of empathy, mutual respect, celebrating differences and strengthening brotherhood.

May the spirit of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) continue to guide us in nurturing a campus and nation founded upon faith, unity, harmony and respect.

PROGRAM DIALOG HARMONI NEGERI SELANGOR 2026

Pejabat Timbalan Rektor (Pembangunan Pelajar dan Penglibatan Komuniti) UIAM ingin mengajak para pelajar dan anggota masyarakat yang berminat untuk menyertai Program Dialog Harmoni Peringkat Negeri Selangor 2026 anjuran JPNIN Selangor dengan kerjasama Sekretariat Rukun Negara UIAM.
