What do tiny RNA fragments and breakthrough cancer treatments have in common? 🤔🧬

Meet miRNAs: small but mighty molecules that quietly control gene expression behind the scenes. 🧫 Discovered in 1993, they’ve gone from obscure biology to Nobel-winning science, with real potential in diagnostics, therapy, and more. Curious how something so small could reshape medicine? You might want to take a closer look. 👀📲

And that’s a wrap on the Research Mentorship Program Series 1! 🎊🥳

We closed out this program with an inspiring morning of peer discussions 👥, speeches from the heart of our Research Mentorship Program, and prize-giving to some standout participants. 🏆

We owe our inaugural Research Mentorship Program’s success to everyone who has participated in it! Huge thanks to worq for hosting our closing ceremony, haruka.bakery for the snacks 🍞, all our guest lecturers 👩‍🏫, especially Dr. Irene and Dr. Max for their thoughtful speeches at the closing ceremony, and every participant for their passion and persistence. 👏✨

To every participant who joined us, shared ideas, and explored big questions, thank you. We hope you left curious, confident, and excited for what’s next. 📝

How do airplanes fly 🛫, and F1 cars stay rooted to the ground 🏎️, using the exact same physics principle?

Bernoulli’s Principle isn’t just a textbook equation, it’s behind some of the most iconic engineering feats 👷‍♀️🤩 in modern history. A mere curvature on the surface of the airplane wing helps it to fly! ✈️

Interested in reading more? Check out our newest article 📝 written by Zhang Ning covering Bernoulli’s Principle and its applications! The article can be found via our website in our bio or by scanning the QR code! Have a good read! 📖✨

What do World of Warcraft 🎮 and pandemic science 🦠 have in common?

What started as a coding error🧑‍💻 in a game ended up modeling real-world human behavior during a viral outbreak — so much so that the CDC studied it. Curious how a virtual “plague” helped scientists prep for the real thing? Swipe to read more! 🤩📲

Why Does Time Flow in One Direction? ⏳➡️ From shattered eggs that never unbreak to the expansion of the universe, the direction of time is reflected everywhere. But could quantum mechanics, gravity, or even our own perception hold the key to why time moves forward? ⏩🧐

Our latest article from Aishu explores this idea to uncover one of physics’ greatest mysteries. Could time ever reverse? Or is it all in our minds? 🤯
