The form of JCI Kepayan is now affiliated during JCI Malaysia Annual National Convention 2017 at Miri Sarawak on October 2017. His Charter Year 2017 and Presidency Year 2018 Theme are Together We Excel and carries this philosophy to long term and also influenced the next successor!

Our JCI Kepayan Milestone

The Story Of JCI Kepayan

31s December 2016 saw the forming of a group of enthusiastic youth who are deeply inspired by JCI Movement as demonstrated by JCI Tanjung Aru for the past 5 years.

Led by JCI Member Clement Wong who joined JCI Tanjung Aru since December 2012 and served as Board of Directors for 2014 and 2015, the group was swiftly formed.

The First Protem Committee Meeting was held on the 30 December 2016 at Jin Jin Seafood Restaurant in Lintas.

JCI Tanjung Aru formally endorsed sponsoring the extension of JCI Kepayan during the 1st Extraordinary General Meeting held On 19 January 2017.

JCI Kepayan then held their first AGM on 14th September 2017 and the first Board Of Directors elected were:-

Charter President - Clement Wong

Vice President - Wong Siew Hing

Secretary General - Kenneth Lee

Honory Treasurer - Susan Yong

General Legal Counsel - Kelvin Lai

Commision Director - Chin Hin Ling

Commision Director - Daphney Chu

JCI Kepayan was then born on 24 Oct 2017 when they received their Registration approval from Registrar of Youth.

Under JCI Tanjung Aru’s New LO Extension Advisory Committee Chief Advisor Past National President 1997 JCI Senator Clarence Chin Assigned Past President 2014 of JCI Tanjung Aru JCI Senator Alvis Loo be JCI Kepayan ’s Charter Advisor.

JCI Kepayan was then formally affiliated to JCI Malaysia as one of the 64 Local Organisation during the JCI Malaysia 2017 Annual National Convention in Miri hosted by JCI Lutong.

Subsequently, JCI Malaysia NEVP 2009 and JCI Tanjung Aru President 2006 JCI Senator Paul Hen was assigned to succeed as JCI Kepayan ’s Chapter Advisor. With the leadership of Charter President Clement Wong having the initiative to push himself to another level of providing a platform for all youth. together with all the supporters and advisors. The form of JCI Kepayan is now affiliated during JCI Malaysia Annual National Convention 2017 at Miri Sarawak on October 2017.
