6 Dec 2025 marked a milestone 🌟—our 1st Hospice Klang Palliative Care Symposium at KSL Esplanade Hotel!

It was a gathering marked by learning, reflection, and renewed partnerships in palliative care.

On 22.10.25, Hospice Klang was invited to witness and be part of a momentous achievement by PPUM’s Palliative Care Unit — the launch of NODAC (No One Dies Alone Companion), a groundbreaking initiative that ensures no one faces their final moments alone.

This milestone, the first of its kind in Asia, reflects the unwavering compassion and visionary leadership of PPUM’s palliative team, led by Dr Sheriza Izwa Bt Zainuddin.

🌿✨ On 11 October 2025, Hospice Klang joyfully celebrated World Hospice & Palliative Care Day 2025 — in conjunction with the international movement and in heartfelt collaboration with Sekolah Kebangsaan Bukit Tinggi, Klang!

With the theme “Healthy Family, Happy Community”, the event also helped raise awareness about palliative and hospice care, while celebrating the power of togetherness.

The school grounds came alive with vibrant booths — including Oral 7 and Vitagen — plus exciting activities like a colouring contest, fashion show competition, and lucky draws! It was a day filled with connection, compassion, and community spirit — complete with fun games and delicious food & drinks from Klang’s very own local vendors. 🍛🎈

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make this day a heartfelt success. Together, we’re building a more caring, informed, and inclusive community. 🌟

Hospice Klang was honoured to be invited by the palliative care team at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (HTAR) Klang for a meaningful celebration of World Hospice & Palliative Care Day.

It was a beautiful day filled with conversations, thoughtful sharing, and growing awareness among HTAR staff and attendees. From talks on compassionate care to reflections on the importance of palliative support, the event reminded us that every life matters and every moment of comfort counts.
