A visit to Datuk Ng, group MD of Suria/SPSB by council members of PPLKKK & Sabffla. An very opened discussion on finding short term solutions to the problem faced by hauliers, forwarders & port users; congestion at gates, slow delivery, short time frame for delivery of empties, CEA, power failure, victimization of haulier/forwarder etc.

Sametime we also get to meet some of the operations staff who we have only spoken to but not met. We also learnt the facts behind the relocation of RORO from KK port to SBCP.

This discussion will not solve our problems but hopefully it will ease & lighten some of them.
