As the District Chairperson of Lions Service Journey, I am excited to begin this journey with fellow Cabinet Officers and club leaders across District 308 B3.

I believe every service project has its own story, one of compassion, dedication, and the people whose lives are touched along the way.

Through the Lions Service Journey, I hope to connect these stories, encourage clubs to share their experiences and best practices, and inspire one another to build even more meaningful and sustainable service projects.

When clubs learn from one another, we don't just strengthen individual projects, we strengthen our entire district.

Honoured to serve as part of the Protocol during our District Inauguration, and grateful for the opportunity to be installed as the District Chairperson of Lions Service Journey.

For me, this is more than just a new appointment.
It marks a new challenge and a greater responsibility.

🦁 308 B3 Region 2 – Zone 3 Project
🎬 《ITAM – The Sun Bear》教育电影首映

很开心与大家一同观赏这部以马来熊保育为主题的教育电影《ITAM》
也通过这次的机会
认识了这个世界上最小的熊

一部电影
不只是一个故事
更让我们重新思考人与大自然之间的关系
以及每一个人都能为环境保育尽一份力量

很多时候我们所做的努力
并不一定会马上取得效果
但没有踏出第一步
我们甚至连改善的机会都没有

很高兴看到狮友、少狮、学生及社区伙伴一起参与
让服务不仅走进社区
也透过教育影响更多人

期待接下来有更多公益观影活动机会
让更多孩子、家庭及社区受惠
一起把保育的种子继续传递下去 🌿🐻🦁

It was a pleasure to join everyone in watching ITAM – The Sun Bear, an educational film highlighting the conservation of the Malayan Sun Bear.

Through this opportunity, I also got to know more about the smallest bear species in the world.

A film is more than just a story.
It encourages us to reflect on the relationship between people and nature,
and reminds us that every one of us can play a part in protecting our environment.

Very often, the efforts we make may not produce immediate results.
But if we never take the first step,
we will never have the opportunity to make a difference.

It was wonderful to see Lions, Leos, students, and community partners coming together.
Service is not only about reaching our communities,
but also about educating and inspiring more people.

Looking forward to more community screening opportunities in the future,
so that more children, families, and communities can benefit,
and together, we can continue planting the seeds of conservation. 🌿🐻🦁

🦁 Asia Pacific Community Leaders Summit 2026
Sibu, Sarawak

每一次参加这样的国际领导峰会
都让我有一种重新充电的感觉

不是因为学到了什么惊天动地的新理论
而是在与不同国家、不同文化的狮友交流中
重新看见狮子会更多的可能性

有时候
一个好的点子、一个新的做法
就足以影响一个分会、一个区会
甚至改变未来服务的方向

而是希望每一次回来
都能够带回一点新的想法
一点新的启发
让我们的领导、会员发展与服务
比昨天再进步一点点

Every time I attend a multinational event,
it feels like hitting the reset button.

Not because I discovered groundbreaking theories,
but because every conversation with Lions from different countries and cultures
helps me see new possibilities for our organisation.

Sometimes, a single idea or a different approach
is enough to influence a club, a district,
or even shape the future of service.

It is about returning home with a few new ideas,
fresh inspiration,
and a stronger desire to make our leadership, membership, and service
just a little better than yesterday 🦁

When the night turned magical ✨⚡

Had a wonderful evening at a Hogwarts-themed Installation Night for the Lions Club of JB Austin and the Club Branch of Johor Bahru Entrepreneur Malaysia.

What impressed me most was seeing how the Leo transformed a creative idea into reality
From the theme, atmosphere, and experience, every detail reflected their passion, imagination, and dedication.

It is always encouraging to see young leaders stepping forward, daring to think differently, and bringing fresh energy into our Lions family.

Congratulations to the newly installed Board of Directors, and wishing you a successful and memorable term ahead. 🦁

Had the pleasure of attending the Installation of the President and Board of Directors for the Lions Club of Bahau.

Congratulations to the newly elected Board of Directors as you begin another chapter of service and growth.

It was also encouraging to see the new Cub Clubs, bringing fresh energy, and even more opportunities to involve families in the Lions journey.

One thing that stood out to me was the emphasis on family participation.
Service becomes even more meaningful when it can be shared with our loved ones, creating memories while making a difference together.🦁❤️

Once again, we completed another journey together.
Let me take this opportunity to sincerely thank all of our facilitators Koh Siang Tan Ten Jia Sheng Estelle Lee Priscilla Chew Gan Chee Biow Simon Wai Teck Ming

ELLI 2026 would not have been possible without your support, energy, and willingness to share throughout the entire institute.

For our participants, what impressed me most was how seriously many participants treated their pre-assignment work. 🤩
The effort, preparation, and thought put into every presentation and discussion truly reflected the passion to learn and grow.

5th Campaign Stop — Negeri Sembilan

This stop gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges faced across different regions,
especially in the development of Leo Clubs. from the balance between English and Mandarin,
to issues of resource allocation and representation, each topic deserves careful attention.
In the past, resources leaned towards a single language.

Today, the membership landscape has changed and we need to evolve with it.
A clearer bilingual approach, fairer distribution of resources, and a more representative team structure
could be the way forward for us together. 🦁

让我更深入了解不同区域
在青少狮发展上所面对的挑战
从中英双语的平衡
到资源分配与代表性的问题
每一个课题都值得我们认真面对

过去资源偏向单一语言
如今会员结构已改变

第四站来到加亨

原以为这一站
大家会更多关注在地区服务的课题

但交流下来才发现
有很大一部分的想法
都围绕在制度与系统的延续性

从服务到结构
从当下到未来
每一个问题
都带着更长远的思考

也让我更加体会到
真正的改变
不只是做得更多
而是做得更稳、更长久

4th Campaign Stop — Kahang
I initially thought
the focus here would be more on local service issues.

But through the conversations, I realised that many of the ideas were centred around the continuity of systems and structures.

From service to structure,
from present to future,
every question carried a longer-term perspective.

It reminded me again that
real change is not just about doing more, but about building something more stable and sustainable over time.
