We were chartered in year 1996 and have been serving the Johor Bahru community for over 26 years. d continents. With 1.4 million members, we now have the opportunity to truly change our world. That's why we've consolidated our global services into five demand areas. These five vocations


We work to prevent preventable blindness and improve the quality of life for the blind and visually impaired.


We work to reduce the occurrence of diabetes and improve the quality of life of our patients.


We work hard to ensure that all community residents have access to nutritious food.


We work to continuously protect and restore our environment to improve the well-being of all communities.


Lions and Leos support the needs of children and families affected by childhood cancer through impactful service activities. These global causes represent important humanitarian challenges. Join us in meeting these challenges.

视力
我们努力防止可预防的失明，并改善失明及视障人士的生活质量。

糖尿病
我们努力减少糖尿病的出现，并提高患者的生活质量。

饥饿
我们努力确保所有的社区居民都可以获得营养食品。

环境
我们努力持续地保护和恢复我们的环境，以改善所有社区的福祉。

儿童癌症
狮友和青少狮通过有影响力的服务活动，为受儿童癌症影响的儿童和家庭的需求提供支持。

由1996年起，新山城市狮子会以筹办常年慈善高尔夫球赛，为我们主要筹款项目，筹集足够经费来举办与进行我们的常年服务活动。我们秉持着取之社会用之社会的信念，严格遵守遵守狮子会道德规范，将所筹集资金以最大限度，亲力亲为，回馈给社会有需要的群体/家庭/机构。

截至今日，新山城市狮子会引以为傲的几项常年服务活动如下：-
1）Make A Wish - 与癌症/绝症病童和他们的家人一起度过一天，并完成他们的一个心愿。
2）通过街头慈善派对 - 筹集教育与医药基金，针对贫苦家庭，弱势群体的孩童提供经济资助。
3）营养午餐计划 - 与学校配合，常年赞助贫苦学生的午餐费用。
4）护目防盲活动 - 到个别学校为小学生免费提供验眼服务，为有需要的学生免费配制眼镜。
5）贫穷家庭物资派送 - 分别为有需要的家庭进行物资捐赠和食物派送上的援助等等。
