JBEM Corporate Visit @ Vermi Industries Sdn Bhd
An insightful and inspiring afternoon at Vermi Industries, a proud Malaysian brand since 1964.
JBEM members had the opportunity to explore behind-the-scenes operations and learn about:
🔹 Rice vermicelli production processes
🔹 International quality standards (HACCP, HALAL, ISO22000)
🔹 Scaling a local brand to global markets

A big thank you to the Vermi team for the warm hospitality and valuable sharing.
This visit not only expanded our business perspectives but also strengthened the bond among JBEM members. JBEM — where entrepreneurs learn, connect, and grow together.

Lions Club of JBEM is honoured to fully support the 27th “Love in Unity, Safeguarding Health” Charity Dinner organised by the JB Lions Renal Care Foundation 新山狮子会慈善洗肾基金会

Together with hundreds of guests, we gathered to raise funds for two dialysis centres serving 120 kidney patients. The generosity shown throughout the evening reflected the strong compassion and unity within our community.

We are especially proud that Lion Woon | WE M&E Sdn Bhd, a member of JBEM, donated a dialysis machine a powerful testament to how one act of kindness can make a meaningful difference.

JBEM is grateful to be part of this heartfelt event and to witness the Lions spirit of “We Serve” shining brightly.

A powerful afternoon of learning and inspiration!
Our JBEM members visited Megapro Metal Industries in Semenyih for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour, guided by Director Lance Liew.

We gained valuable insights into:
🔹 Industrial metal trunking & cable tray systems
🔹 Manufacturing innovation and product applications
🔹 Automation and scalable production in Malaysia’s industrial sector

To plant a tree is to sow hope; to protect the ocean is to safeguard life.

At Lions Club of JB Austin, we are deeply committed to environmental protection. From reforestation efforts to marine ecosystem restoration, we believe that every action we take today plants the seeds of a greener future for our planet.

🌊 Why Coral Conservation Matters

🐠 Coral reefs are the habitat for over 90% of marine species and are known as the “rainforests of the sea.”
🌊 They serve as natural barriers that protect coastlines from waves and erosion.
💙 A healthy coral ecosystem is the foundation for sustainable coexistence between humans and the ocean.

Our Initiatives:
🔹 Coral Restoration Dives – Lions actively participate in underwater coral planting and reef rehabilitation, breathing new life into the sea.
🔹 Environmental Education – We raise public awareness about the importance of marine conservation through ongoing outreach and advocacy.
