By any measure the public is under-insured. Worst off are those families with low-incomes who are especially at risk. The founders of easicircle believe that basic insurance protection should be a priority for all families, particularly those that would most sorely feel the effects of a loss of income. Too often we have all heard heart breaking stories about a family su
ffering the early demise or illness of a loved one only to have their hardship compounded by the difficulties that a loss of income causes. While some tragedies are part of life and cannot be avoided, the added stresses that a loss of income triggers are easily relieved with the protection of simple, basic insurance coverage. Currently, most life insurance policies are SOLD (by agents, brokers or banks) and very few are BOUGHT directly by the policyholders. Most distributors, understandably, do not find it economically feasible to sell small life insurance policies to lower income group, as the commission is smaller than the costs of selling the policy. As a result, a large portion of the society are either underinsured or have no insurance at all. This situation is not good for the society and the regulator from many countries have also tried to address this issue. We at easicircle aim to reverse this situation through our direct online purchasing platform, within the easicircle community. To ensure that we can spread the benefits of easicircle to as many people as possible, we would give you easipoints for introducing/referring the membership program to the people in your circle of influence (CoI) and when your referral becomes an active easicircle member.
