n conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration, Zone 1 Lions Clubs (KB Centennial, Kuala Krai, KB Host, and Tanah Merah) carried out another humanitarian project in Kuala Krai — a love visit to two families.
The first visit was to Madam Tong Sui Yoon, a diabetic patient residing behind Yit Sit Kong Temple, Kuala Krai. She is currently recovering from a leg operation at HSIP. Besides presenting her with tokens of care, the visit aimed to provide emotional comfort, reduce fear and loneliness, and support her physical healing process. We wish her a speedy recovery.
The second visit was to Mr. Tan Hou Seng and his family. Angpow, rice, and mandarin oranges were presented to convey goodwill and best wishes for health, prosperity, and happiness in the New Year.

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration, Zone 1 Lions clubs ( KB CENTENNIAL, KUALA KRAI, KB HOST AND TANAH MERAH ) collaborated with the Kuala Krai Hakka Association and other NGOs to organise a special project for 80 senior citizens at the Old Folks’ Home.
Each beneficiary received an ang pow, a lunch box accompanied by mandarin oranges (symbolising goodwill and best wishes for health, prosperity, and happiness in the New Year), Mixue fresh lemonade, and KFC chicken.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our Lions Presidents and members, as well as the Hakka committee members, for their initiative, dedication, and commitment in making this meaningful project a success. Your collective efforts have created a lasting and positive impact on the lives of the senior citizens.
At the same time, we wish everyone prosperity, well-being, and success in the Year of the Horse.
