Today, upon receiving a call regarding welfare case, Malaysia Hindudharma Mamandram Penang Branch visited Mr. Kirubananthan Muniandi, 54-year-old artist from Tanjung Bungah, Penang who has been diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease.
Mr. Kirubananthan is a respected and talented artist whose contributions to the arts community have touched many lives. He is a devoted husband and father to a young daughter. As his condition progresses, the financial burden of ongoing medical treatment, medication, therapy and daily care has become increasingly challenging for him and his family.
We are humbly seeking support to help raise funds and provide any assistance available to ease the financial strain caused by his illness.
Mr. Kirubananthan requires Deep Brain Surgery (DBS) for Parkinson’s Disease. The surgery can help manage his symptoms and significantly reduce his dependence on medication. He cannot afford to wait another 2 years, as patients who have had Parkinson’s Disease for more than 5 years may no longer be suitable candidates for the surgery.
We would be grateful for any consideration, guidance or assistance that may be extended to support Mr. Kirubananthan and his family during this difficult time.
Malaysia Hindudharma Mamandram Penang Branch Chairman Thanabalan Nanda Kumar together with Advisor Dato' Dr. R. Gunasegaran Pillai and Vice Chairman cm Chairman of the Welfare Bureau Dharma Mamani A.Krishnan, handed over contribution from the Mamandram to Mr. Kirubananthan A/L Muniandi and as next step, we will also assist in applying for SOCSO support, as his application has been rejected twice due to certain reasons. Mamandram will continue to provide assistance in this matter.
