Another beautiful Hari Raya celebration with our children. ♡

The day was filled with learning, joy, and so much laughter. It was a chance for them to relax, have fun, and truly enjoy themselves.

We are so proud of our Grade 9 students, who did an incredible job planning and organizing the activities under our guidance. Watching them take initiative was really inspiring.

A big thank you to Ahcoe Health care Simulation Centre for sponsoring the venue and special appreciation to Sugguna and her friend Hyrul for sponsoring meals for our children.

This one day of celebration brought so much happiness and created memories our children will cherish for a long time.

First time roller skating and what an experience it was. Lots of falls, but every time you fall, you get back up. Just like in life.

It was such a meaningful and joyful experience for 70 of our children.

A big thank you to John and Audrey for organising and sponsoring this special day for them! You both are truly amazing ♡

185 grocery bags were distributed to 185 families ( all with children) in need this Ramadan.

A month ago, we began identifying villagers and families who would benefit from this food aid. Based on the numbers, we raised funds accordingly and worked closely with two different vendors to ensure the food baskets were reasonably priced and suitable for the families.

Thank you to everyone who donated towards the food baskets. Whether you contributed one packet or ten baskets, every single amount mattered and helped make this possible.

We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming support we received. With your generosity, we managed to raise the required funds in just about a week. Without your kindness, this would not have been possible.

The families came to both of our centres to register and collect their food baskets. They left with smiles, gratitude, and relief, and for us, seeing their happiness was truly priceless.

We are also so proud of our teachers, teenagers, and students who helped throughout the entire process. They worked tirelessly and happily, giving their time and energy just to ensure that every family received their food aid. Their compassion and dedication is a true reflection of SelflessTogether.

Thank you once again for making this possible. Your kindness has made a real difference this Ramadan.

We believe peace begins with understanding.
This Chinese New Year, we wanted to celebrate differently, by taking some of our children out to experience the Chinese heritage and culture in Penang.

A big thanks to Dr. Sim, our secretary, for organising the Chinese Cultural Walk, and to the Inheritors for being such amazing tour guides. Our volunteers were also incredible, keeping the children safe and helping everything run smoothly.

We explored the streets of Penang with 50 children, many of whom were fasting. They were given the choice to join, and 50 chose to come. Even though they were tired, they walked through the morning with curiosity and grace, learning so much along the way.

Thank you to everyone who made this Saturday so memorable. It was a truly special experience for all of us.

Thank you, Edward, Sam, Hong Ern, and Nick, for your unwavering generosity and for visiting us every Chinese New Year.

Your personal effort to hand out ang paus to all 170 children to both learning centres, and to prepare lunch for them, truly means so much to them. It is your time, your presence, and your sincerity that make it special.

The children were counting down the days in excitement ♡

They put together a simple performance and took turns sharing a few words to thank you for standing by our school all these years. They really meant every word.

Your continued support has left a deep and lasting impact on their lives. Many of our children may not remember every lesson they learn, but they will remember the people who showed up for them.

Thank you for showing us that compassion transcends race, religion, and culture. Your kindness will always be remembered.

May you be blessed with happiness, success, good health, and abundance in all that you do. ♡

Throwback to the time our children volunteered at both centres of Rumah Intan Old Folks Home.

Our students took the initiative to plan the entire visit from writing the proposal to organising the activities.
50 of them came together to make it happen and they carried it out so beautifully as a team.

They performed and sang for the elderly, organised colouring sessions, led a simple exercise session, and even offered massages without being asked.

Their kindness was so natural and sincere.
Despite the language barrier, some of them still managed to sit down, listen, connect, while hearing stories and sharing laughter with the residents.

As we always say at SelflessTogether, our mission goes beyond academics. While education matters, it is even more important to us that we raise kind, responsible, and compassionate human beings who will make this world a better place.

Good job, kids. We are always so proud of you. ♡

Hi everyone! 🌙 It’s that time of the year again where we come together to raise funds for food provisions for families in need, especially the families of children from our learning centres.

For those who may not know, SelflessTogether is an NGO that runs 2 learning centres providing free education to 170 refugee children living in poverty.

Every Ramadan, it has become our tradition to prepare and distribute food provision bags to families who need extra support.

We have visited the villages and identified the families requiring assistance this year, and we are hoping to prepare 170 - 180 food bags.

Each provision bag (RM80) includes:
• 10kg rice
• Eggs
• Cooking oil
• Biscuits
• Maggi
• Soap
• toothpaste
(NO MILO)

If you would like to contribute, please scan the QR code and upload your payment slip. Do also leave us your email address so we can send you an official receipt. This really helps us maintain proper records and ensures transparency in our audits and accounts and we truly appreciate your help with this.

Thank you, as always, for your kindness and generosity.

May this Ramadan be filled with compassion, blessings, and the joy of giving to those who need it most 🩷

Thank you to the Harmonico team for inviting 8 of our teenagers to participate in the Jelajah Harmoni Camp alongside other Malaysian teens. All of these adolescents had taken part in the Jelajah Harmoni Walk within the past two years.

The 1-day camp was very well organized, with the goal of helping students reflect on their previous experiences and explore how they can foster “harmony” in their daily lives. They worked in groups, brainstormed ideas, shared their thoughts, and even performed short acts.

It was a truly meaningful experience for our children, as they rarely have the opportunity to interact and mingle with Malaysian youths. Thank you once again to Athirah and the entire Harmonico team for providing our children with such a wonderful and enriching experience.

Throwback to 28 December, when 11 of our teenagers participated in their very first 10km run at the Batu Kawan Half Marathon. We are extremely proud of them for pushing through with so much determination and completing the race strong. 💪

Half of them finished in under 55 minutes! After 10 weeks of consistent training, complete with weekly running “homework”. It was amazing to witness their improvements in stamina, effort, and pace.

This journey wasn’t just about running, it taught them discipline, determination, and resilience. So proud of each of them for earning their very first 10km medal! 🏅

A big thank you to my committee team for coming together and pooling funds to help cover the ticket costs. Truly grateful for the support. ❤️
