Persatuan Kanak-Kanak Istimewa Hulu Langat (PKKI) is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation operating a Day Training Centre for children with the objective of helping children who are mentally and physically challenged due to hereditary, prenatal or post-natal and other complications. PKKI was founded by a group of parents with special needs children as they had nowhere and no one to turn to

for help. Established in September 1995, and registered with ROS as a non-profit and non-governmental organisation (NGO), under the Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Negeri Selangor. OUR AIMS

- To train children with special needs to live as independently as their abilities allow.
- To teach parents and care-givers so that they can continue the training at home.
- To bring about a greater awareness of the needs of the disabled.
- To bring about greater integration acceptance by the public, and better integration of the disbaled into the community. OUR PROGRAMME

- Early Intervention Programme (EIP).
- Individual and group teaching.
- Pre kinder for selected children.
- Pre-Vocational for selected children.
- Therapy programmes provided as needed (subject to the availability of these specialist). OUR NEEDS

- Funds to run our programme.
- Operating expenses.
- Building fund.
- Donors and sponsors.
- Volunteers.

On 13 March 2026 visitors from Creation Justice Ministry, Archdiocese of Kuala Lumpur led by Fr. Andrew visited our centre. PKKI's children entertain our guests with song, dance & games. The centre were blessed with lunch & donations in kind.
