"Above The Borders" is a project that was born from a volunteering trip in 2014 in African countries Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda.

On that trip we realized that my contribution as a volunteer was not about what we did during our stay there, it was about what could we do after returning to our country. By gathering toold, finding opportunities and resources we could truly help those in need on the other side of the world. We could raise awareness and make sure they are never forgotten and left behind.

PART 2: The clinic is finally coming together ❤️‍🩹🏥

In Part 1 you saw us unloading the cement and the 165 boxes of floor tiles from the truck. Now comes the hardest part and also the most beautiful.

Here you can see the community working side by side to transform an abandoned classroom into a clinic that will change lives.

After 24 hours with no sleep, working day and night, this is how it looks now. A clinic that is almost ready to serve hundreds of families.

The renovation of our medical clinic has officially begun. The truck with all the material arrived to our village, and we started unloading everything: cement, floor, wood, and more.
This clinic will help even more children and families here in Kenya, and this is only Part 1.

They finally got their playground. 🛝
What to us might seem small…
to them, it’s everything. 🌍

Because here, joy doesn’t come from what you have —
it comes from what you’ve been given. 💛

Thanks to your donations, our kids finally have a place to laugh, to play, to feel free.
Next dream: a library 📚 and soccer fields ⚽ —
so they can keep learning, dreaming, and growing beyond borders.

🇰🇪 What we did in August 🌍✨
This year we visited our projects in Kenya to see the progress made thanks to the support of people like you.

We shared meals with our children, saw the new orphan homes, the playgrounds, and the relocation of our medical clinic — now part of a larger, safer Community Center that will soon include an elementary school, a library, a henhouse, and sports fields.

All of this, so our children can thrive in a safe environment. 💛

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us.
This is just the beginning.

En agosto de 2025 regresamos a Muhuru Bay, una aldea ubicada en el condado de Migori, Kenia.
Ahí, en 2018, fundamos la primera y única clínica médica de la región.
Este año volvemos para ampliar y mejorar sus instalaciones.
Es el único lugar donde los habitantes de Muhuru pueden acceder a medicina y tratamientos de forma inmediata.

Porque una vida es una vida, sin importar en qué frontera esté.

In August 2025, we’re heading back to Muhuru Bay, a village in Migori County, Kenya.
Back in 2018, we founded the first and only medical clinic in the area.
This year, we’re returning to expand and improve the facility.
It remains the only place where the people of Muhuru can access medicine and treatment quickly and safely.

Because a life is a life, no matter which border it’s within.

After 7 years, we’re returning to Muhuru Bay — the village that forever changed our hearts.
Back in 2018, we founded the first and only medical clinic to serve the community. Now, we’re going back to continue the mission.
