We had a productive Beach Cleanup this morning- our first official!! Many thanks to Mandy Williams for joining my husband and I in walking amongst the rocks along the Malecon, north of the Rio Cuale. Thankfully there wasn’t a tremendous amount of plastic bottles and large trash but as always A LOT of tiny pieces of plastic/foam/cigarette butts, etc. hiding in the cracks. (Missing in the photo a large full bag)
Also, A LOT of construction materials fallen or thrown overboard from the seawall improvement- wire, grates and large pieces of wood, 2x4& 6x6’s. We gathered those up and put them in their construction rubble piles.

We were small but mighty as every little bit helps - bit by bit, piece by piece.

Hope you can join us for our next cleanup on Sept 21st for International Coastal Cleanup and join the FB group Eco Amigos de Puerto Vallarta
