For the last 6 years I have been working with the kids of Naco, Mexico, in turning the US/Mexico border wall into the world's longest kids mural. Now our mile of painted border wall is being torn down and replaced with prison-wire fencing. But this is not the end of the Border Bedazzlers. This is the beginning of a new free kids art studio in Naco, Sonora, called Studio Mariposa ( butterfly).
Help me send a message to the world that we love and respect our Mexican neighbors. Support this grass-roots effort to bring art to border kids. Please donate any amount, no matter how small. Your donation will be turned directly into art supplies for hundreds of kids. A building right next to the port of entry in Naco, Mexico, has been generously donated for this project by Humanitarian Border Solutions. No wall will stop us. Help give border kids wings to fly! Poco Naco Taco party tomorrow, Friday, at Studio Mariposa, kids art studio in Naco, Mexico. We still don't have electricity, so dress warmly, but please come! 3-5 PM.
You will probably see the border wall being torn down too.
I'm going there today, so will inform you as to the state of the Border Bedazzlers painted border wall!

As may of you know, the Border Bedazzlers painted border wall is being torn down and replaced by prison-style wire fencing. But art never ends, it just changes. I'm thrilled to tell you I'm starting a free kids' art studio in Naco, Mexico! Studio Mariposa, which is Spanish for butterfly.
The kids in Naco are really excited to have an art space to express their most creative, colorful selves. Humanitarian Border Solutions have generously donated the use of the old Migrant Center, just past Border Patrol on the Mexican side, for this exciting project.
I hope you will join us in helping give border kids wings to fly!

Studio Mariposa is a free kids art center located on the U.S./Mexcio Border, in Naco, Sonora.
