Any woman can be an influence where she is. If you are in a circle that supports what you are doing, all the better. When women gather together, sharing stories is what we naturally do. This is how we learn and find encouragement, allies, and ideas.

The stories that stay with us are a source of soul nourishment. When we take a story to heart, we are inspired by what others have done. Stories about others speak to us about what is possible for us to do as well. They stretch our imagination and therefore the field of what is possible for us to do, grows.

It is no secret that I believe that the big needed changes will come from small circles of committed supportive women.

Keep gathering! Share your stories! While we cannot know how much we contribute to furthering momentum toward a critical mass, knowing that we are doing so adds a sense of being connected to others all over the world and being part of something larger.

For a women’s circle to work as a spiritual and psychological cauldron for change and growth, we need to see every woman in the circle as a sister who mirrors back to us reflections of ourselves. This means that whatever happened to her could have happened to us, that whatever she has felt or done is a possibility for us, that she is someone toward whom we feel neither superior nor inferior nor in-different. These are not just concepts but the emotional reality that comes from listening to women tell the truth about their lives. Additional depth comes from the psychological awareness that strong reactions to another woman may occur because she represents something in ourselves that is psychologically charged; our reactions are not just about her but about us. Perhaps we can’t stand her because she expresses experiences we have repressed; maybe we find her difficult because we react to her like we did to our personal mother or some other significant figure; maybe we are drawn to her because she embodies a potential in ourselves and the positive qualities we so admire in her are growing in us; maybe we avoid her because we fear our own addictions, dependency, or neediness. In this way, we are symbolic figures for each other that we need to understand as we would symbols in a personal dream.

May you be brave.. if invited to a circle .. may you show up … explore the reflections.. Circle work is fast track healing and growth if you allow it … Hope your solstice/full moon time is and has been wonderful…

Cuando más derrumbada me he sentido, con dificultad para seguir, e incluso para quedarme en el lugar que estoy, la vida me llamó con suavidad, y el Universo me explicó lo que tanto trabajo me había costado entender y aceptar.

Así pude comprender que mis transformaciones comenzaron con una crisis, y tuve que decidir eso que dejaría ir, lo que necesitaba soltar para comprometerme conmigo misma.

Comenzó a ser sencillo cuando permití que me guiara el amor, estando en paz con mis elecciones, incluso con aquellas que más me dolía tomar, pero entendiendo que era necesario para poder avanzar.
