Xochipilli by Xochipeople

Revival of the ancient cultural heritage through an interactive piece of mixed media art, derived from the exploration in 3D of the real sculpture of Xochipilli (16th century) that is now in the National Museum of Anthropology and History of Mexico. Aztec god of arts, psychedelia and male fertility. Symbol of altered states of mind, expression and creativity. Patron of artists, bohemians, homosexuals and gigalos. Tatt'ed up with magic mushrooms and psychedelic flowers. Xochipilli by Xochipeople bring a contemporary revival of our ancient cultural world heritage via a giant LED-lit collaborative canvas/projection screen sculpture derived from a 3D-scan of the actual ancient artifact in the Mexican National Museum of Anthropology.
