Africa Day can’t just be about flags and speeches. Not while the 99% are being crushed by the rising cost of living crisis. We cannot accept this as the norm.

Africa is not poor; we are being robbed. From oil rigs to vast landscapes, the wealth is here, so why are ordinary people struggling to afford the basics? Another Africa is possible. One that actually works for you, not just the 1%.

Healthcare is not a luxury. It is a constitutional right.
Kenya cannot keep making promises while hospitals collapse under debt, patients are turned away, and families are pushed deeper into poverty just to survive.

SHA must work in practice — not on paper. Public healthcare must be fully funded. Legacy debts must be cleared. Every Kenyan deserves access to quality care without fear of cost, it cannot be just for the 1%, we’re not having it!

A country spending more on debt interest than on keeping its people alive has its priorities dangerously backwards.
