A Gift of Learning for Kundecha Nursery School.
Giving back starts with a thankful heart.
Grace Matope is from Kundecha Village in Domasi. She is married and currently working in Blantyre. She was once a beneficiary of the PASD Scholarship Project, supported by Hope for Malawi. To show her appreciation, she returned to her community with a special gift.
Grace donated a 32-inch plasma screen to Kundecha Nursery School in Domasi. The screen will support teaching and make lessons more engaging for young learners.
The event was attended by PASD officers, six Group Village Heads, caregivers, scholarship students, Kundecha youths, and community members. Everyone came together to celebrate this kind act.
During the event, Grace encouraged scholarship beneficiaries to work hard. She reminded them that education can change lives and help develop their communities. She also said that everyone can one day give back, no matter where they come from.
The Kundecha Group Village Head thanked Grace for the gift and encouraged other beneficiaries to follow her example by remembering their community when they succeed.
The event was very inspiring. It motivated scholarship beneficiaries and the whole community to work hard, give back, and bring positive change.
Blessed is the hand that gives. 🙏
