Our school in Chimwaza, Domasi was badly damaged in recent floods which affected 300,000+ people across Malawi. The children are currently on their Easter break, but right now the school is unsafe for them to return to.

🧱 We’re working to get it repaired in time for when they return on the 27th and we're nearly there - just £200 to go.

💜 Our biggest community health event of the year is almost here!

This year’s World AIDS Day theme highlights the impact of donor cuts on the HIV response and celebrates the resilience of communities pushing the fight forward. This really hits close to home for us, as our community members and our tiny organisation continue doing everything we can to raise awareness, make testing accessible, and empower people to take control of their health and HIV status through community support and education ✊

Last year:
💉 75 tested for HIV
🎗️ 2 people offered support after positive results
🤝 120 HIV self-test kits distributed
🤲 1,152 condoms distributed

Your donation helps us offer free testing, advice, and support, and connect anyone who tests positive to our Nsangeni Support Group. Together, we can help people know their status, get guidance, and feel supported.

Our gift vouchers are more than just a present under a tree - every single one of them directly supports our community members in Domasi.

We know there are a load of charities competing for voucher space these days, but ours are a little different. Each voucher is discussed and designed by our community members themselves, so we know what you’re buying really is what’s most needed right now.

And on top of that, all postage and printing costs are covered by our UK-based volunteer team, so every single kwacha goes exactly where it says on the tin, and where it can make the biggest difference to people’s lives and livelihoods.
