As we count down to the International Day of the Girl Child, I invite you to take a moment to read The Untold Stories — a collection of stories documented through our Liu Lathu (Our Voice) Project.

These are more than just stories. They are the voices, experiences, dreams, challenges and hopes of adolescent mothers — young women whose experiences are often spoken about, but rarely heard in their own words.

Through Liu Lathu, we created space for adolescent mothers to share their realities, reflect on their journeys, and reclaim their voices through storytelling and creative expression.

As we continue implementing the Seed of Hope Project, we are excited to move into the next chapter of orienting youth clubs in Likangala Ward, Zomba, on the project's goals and activities.

The sessions have been engaging and inspiring, helping young people understand the importance of climate action and the critical role they can play in leading efforts to protect and restore the environment. Recognizing that formal teaching methods may not always be the most effective, we have integrated the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) approach to support youth club members in developing their own Vision Journeys for climate restoration while promoting Positive Youth Development.

So far, we have successfully oriented two youth clubs, with five more to go. We are encouraged by the enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment shown by these young people and look forward to working alongside them as they transform their visions into meaningful action.

Together, we are nurturing a generation of young climate champions and building a more sustainable future for our communities. 🌍💚

Happy Monday!!! 🌱✨

A little throwback to the launch of our SEED OF HOPE Project being implemented in Zomba City, TA Chikowi, Likangala Ward, with financial support from the European Union in partnership with Global Youth Movement under the Youth Empowerment Fund.

We successfully conducted our stakeholder engagement meeting to develop a practical and community-driven action plan for the project.

SEED OF HOPE is an environmental initiative focused on empowering young people with practical climate action skills through a youth-to-youth mentorship model. Together, we are raising a generation of young climate champions ready to lead change in their communities. 🌍💚
