The Slum Foundation has urged community in the area to priorities cleanliness and embrace clean- up exercises to prevent Cholera outbreaks and other diseases.

We made the plea during a clean-up campaign exercise at Senga Bay Trading Center organized in conjuction with Concerned Citizen, with a Support from different stakeholders around SengaBay.

Let all participate and always ensure that our environment is clean by practicing handwashing and having toilets so that together we can fight the disease of Cholera.

Slum Foundation in conjunction with Concerned Citizens will intensify its efforts in sensitizing the community to implement sanitation activities to prevent water borne diseases.

We have decided to partner with the stakeholders to create awareness about the need to promote hygiene and good Sanitation. The exercise took place on 18 of September 2024 and next phase will take place on 27 September 2024.

Let us all participate and always ensure that our environment is clean by practicing handwashing and having toilets so that together we can fight the disease of Cholera.
