**A school uniform is never just a school uniform.**

When you sponsor a uniform through **Dorika Foundation**, you are doing far more than providing clothing for a child.

You are **opening the door to education** for a boy or girl who may have never imagined a brighter future. A uniform restores confidence, dignity, and a sense of belonging. It allows a child to walk into the classroom with pride, ready to learn and dream.

You are **creating income for a vulnerable woman** who owns a tailoring business. Every uniform we commission provides meaningful work, helping her earn a living, support her family, and strengthen her own future.

You are also **supporting local businesses** by purchasing fabric and other materials from shops at **Kawaza Trading Centre**. Every purchase contributes to local entrepreneurship and keeps money circulating within the community.

251 uniforms. 251 smiles. 251 futures inspired.

What started as a birthday wish became a life-changing reality. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends, family and supporters, 251 learners received brand-new school uniforms—201 at Kawaza Primary School and 50 at Bolero Primary School.

Together, we have restored dignity, boosted confidence, and given more children a reason to attend school with pride.

This is more than a uniform—it is hope, opportunity and a reminder that when a community comes together, lives are transformed.

Kawaza Primary School Has a New Team Kit!

We’re proud to share that Kawaza Primary School has received their football sports uniforms from Dorika Foundation — the next step of my birthday initiative after reaching our uniform target 🙌🏾

We started by dressing every learner in school uniform. But education isn’t just about the classroom.

Why sports? Why a uniform?
1. Teamwork & Discipline: Sports teaches children how to work together, follow rules, and never give up.
2. Health & Confidence: Playing football keeps learners active, healthy, and builds self-esteem.
3. Pride & Identity: A proper team kit gives them dignity on the field. When they wear the same jersey, they play as one and represent their school with pride.

It was necessary because no child should feel left out just because they don’t have proper gear. Now Kawaza’s boys and girls can step onto the field looking and feeling like champions.

To everyone who donated, shared, and supported Dorika Foundation’s initiatives — thank you. You didn’t just give clothes, you gave children a chance to learn, play, and dream bigger.
