We are excited to announce a major milestone: Heart of Giving Foundation is now officially registered as a Community-Based Organization in Mzuzu with both the Mzuzu City Council and the Mzimba District Social Welfare Office

Good morning, everyone, and Happy Independence Day! 🇲🇼

Yesterday, the Heart of Giving Foundation held a wonderful meeting with our patron, existing members and new members from the Luwinga community and the surrounding villages.

It was a fruitful meeting filled with meaningful discussions and ideas on how we can transform lives and create a positive impact in our communities. We shared our vision, strengthened our commitment, and planned practical ways to serve those in need.

Together, we believe that by working as one, we can build stronger communities and create a better future for everyone.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed.

Heart Of Giving Foundation has today begun harvesting sweet potatoes at one of its two farming sites located at Nsonda. The harvesting exercise is still ongoing and the photos below are some of the randomly taken pictures at the farm during the activity.

The project reflects the Foundation’s continued commitment to promoting agriculture, food security and community empowerment through sustainable farming initiatives.

More updates will be shared as the harvesting progresses. Attached are some random pictures being taken right now during the harvesting exercise.

MEETING POSTPONEMENT NOTICE

The Heart of Giving Foundation regrets to inform its members that the meeting which was scheduled to take place today, 18 April 2026, has been postponed.
This decision has been made because the venue is currently occupied by other activities that may affect the effectiveness of the meeting.

Additionally, some activities taking place nearby may create an environment that is not suitable for a focused and productive meeting. As a foundation, we value a calm and appropriate environment for our discussions.

We assure you that a new meeting date will be communicated as soon as possible.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

We are dedicated to empowering young people with practical skills and promoting a sustainable environment through impactful initiatives such as tree planting.

Our Key Objectives:
• Support needy university students with academic and welfare assistance.
• Empower youths with skills in entrepreneurship, digital innovation and leadership.
• Promote employability, creativity and self-reliance among young people.

MEETING ANNOUNCEMENT

The Heart of Giving Foundation is pleased to inform all members that a general meeting has been scheduled as follows:

Date: 18th April, 2026
Time: 3:00 PM
Venue: Luwinga, Mzuzu.

This meeting is important and all members of the MZUNI Heart of Giving Foundation are strongly encouraged to attend and actively participate.

Agenda for the Meeting:

1. To discuss the monthly way forward of the foundation and outline key activities.
2. To remind members of the financial resolutions agreed upon during the previous meeting and emphasize the importance of adhering to them.
3. To discuss the compulsory purchase of the official foundation T-shirts by all members.
4. To plan and organize the harvesting of potatoes at Sonda.

Your presence and contribution are highly valued as we continue to build and strengthen our foundation together. Let us remain committed, responsible and united in achieving our goals.
