Today, we join the world in commemorating AIDS Day.

This year’s theme, “Overcoming disruption, transforming the AIDS response”, reminds us that progress happens when we work together, uphold human rights, and ensure access to care, support, and accurate information.

As I Can Foundation, we stand united in promoting awareness, fighting stigma, and supporting a future where no one is left behind.

CHIBAVI ZONE TEACHERS' APPRECIATION CEREMONY

Every once in a while, a moment arrives that reminds us why education matters. This was one of those moments.

I Can Foundation joined the Chibavi Zone community as Chief Education Officer of Mzuzu City, the PEA, NED representatives, TDC chairman, headteachers, teachers and community leaders, gathered to honour the extraordinary impact made across schools in the zone. The atmosphere was filled with pride, celebration, and a deep sense of purpose.

Then came the highlight,
Guest of Honour, Mr. Boston Nkhoma, Chief Education Officer, revealed the zone’s remarkable achievement: an outstanding 95% PLSCE pass rate for the 2024–2025 academic year.

The Chairperson of the TDC echoed this energy, reminding us that teachers remain the foundation of every profession. From September 2024 to September 2025, their dedication has shaped futures, strengthened communities, and transformed lives. A learner’s heartfelt poem added an emotional touch, quiet, powerful, unforgettable.

As I Can Foundation, we were honoured to stand alongside these champions of education, teachers whose resilience and excellence continue to push boundaries and inspire progress.

To our teachers: your work is the heartbeat of Malawi’s future.
Your impact lives beyond the classroom.

A few weeks ago, we reached out with a simple message of hope, to support children in need through our donation drive. Today, we are humbled and overjoyed to share that because of your kindness, generosity, and compassion, lives have been touched.

Your donations have been safely delivered to Walusungu CBO, where they will bring smiles, comfort, and encouragement to the children who need it most.
