Today we are honored to have hosted the District Executive Committee through our partner St. John of God. The delegation witnessed firsthand our shared commitment to quality Early Childhood Development (ECD) and specially appreciated the construction of inclusive sanitation facility made possible with support from St. John of God.
The committee also commended LICEDO for their continuous efforts towards ECD services citing a higher enrollment rate and dedicated ECD care givers.

Speaking at the event, LICEDO Executive Director Esau Phiri emphasized the importance of partnerships. "Working with stakeholders and government offices such as Mzimba District Social Welfare, will improve ECD services and ensure the sustainability of this initiative," he said.
He added that this will help to increase enrollment in early childhood programs, giving more children the strong foundation they deserve.

Limbikani Centre for Development Organisation (LICEDO) has held a capacity-building meeting with community leaders, religious leaders, councilors, and persons with disabilities.
The meeting aimed at engaging stakeholders in regards to the importance of partnership and collaboration to realize impactful ECD outcomes.
The activity is part of Limbikani Strengthening Program intervention, under shift the power program, which is supported by Tilitonse Foundation in partnership with Comic Relief and UK Aid.
