As one way of promoting sustainable child protection at community level, yesterday we successfully trained stakeholders and community members in child protection leadership, strengthening their capacity to protect children's rights and build safer communities.

While impact is often measured in our communities, it is shaped by the leadership, accountability, and decisions made in boardrooms. During our recent Board meeting, the draft financial external auditors’ report was central to the agenda as Board members deliberated on the auditors’ findings and recommendations.

Building on its commitment to institutional strengthening and staff development, LICEDO successfully completed a 4-day Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) training from 26 to 29 May 2026 under the Comic Relief and UK Aid Shifting the Power Programme being implemented by Tilitonse Foundation in partnership with Comic Relief and the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (UK Aid).

The training enhanced our staff capacity to design, implement, and manage robust M&E systems that support organizational learning, accountability, and evidence-based decision-making.

Our staff gained practical, hands-on experience across the full M&E cycle, including the development of results chains, formulation of M&E frameworks and plans, application of Indicator Performance Tracking Tables, and the use of data collection, analysis, and reporting tools to strengthen program performance and learning.

14/05/2026

Today we celebrate Kamuzu Day by remembering the man who led Malawi to freedom, His Excellency Dr. Hastings Kamuzu Banda. He fought for our independence and built the groundwork for the unity we still share as a nation.
The road he paved is the one we continue to walk. Gone but never forgotten always in our history, always in our hearts.

01/05/2026

On this day, we join the nation in recognizing the hard work and dedication of all workers who drive our country forward every day.

03/04/2026

We wish you a Happy Easter!
