GROWING YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH POULTRY FARMING

At Mobile Youth Network, agriculture is more than production; it is empowerment, sustainability, and creating opportunities for young people to participate in building resilient communities.

As part of our agricultural initiatives, we continue making steady progress in our poultry farming activities, an initiative aimed at strengthening youth participation in agribusiness while promoting practical and sustainable income-generating opportunities.

What may look like ordinary daily work, feeding, cleaning, monitoring growth, and maintaining the poultry house, is in fact building discipline, responsibility, teamwork, and entrepreneurial thinking among young people involved in the project.

Every step matters. Every bird represents effort, learning, and the belief that agriculture can become a pathway toward economic empowerment for the youth.

Through this initiative, MOYONE remains committed to promoting youth-led agricultural enterprises and demonstrating that young people can play a meaningful role in food production, business development, and community transformation.

The journey continues, and so does the vision of creating opportunities that grow beyond today.

At Mobile Youth Network, we continue to engage with young people every day and one thing is clear: many are carrying silent struggles.

For some, it is the pressure of unemployment and the uncertainty of tomorrow.
For others, it is the weight of broken relationships, family expectations, or feeling left behind while peers seem to be progressing.
And for many, it is simply the quiet exhaustion of trying to stay strong in difficult times.

These experiences are real. And they affect mental health more than we often acknowledge.

That is why the MOYONE Health Department will be hosting a Mental Health Awareness Day under the theme:
“Breaking the Silence: Promoting Mental Health and Well-being Among Youth.”

This will be a safe and open space for young people to speak, listen, share experiences, and connect with others facing similar challenges without fear of judgment.

At Mobile Youth Network, we believe that no young person should have to go through these struggles alone.

We invite you to join us as we begin honest conversations, support one another, and take a step toward better mental well-being together.
