Robot Mall, Beijing 🇨🇳

As part of the Yenching Global Symposium, we visited the world’s first humanoid robot 4S store, 4,000 sqm, 50+ robotics brands.

From humanoid assistants to industrial and medical robots… the future is already here.

At Climate Tech Lab, this sparked a big thought:

- The future of climate solutions lies in AI + robotics + data working together

Imagine:
• Robots supporting waste management
• Autonomous systems for disaster response
• Smart tech improving agriculture & climate monitoring

Fun fact: This same hub hosted the 2026 humanoid robot competition, with 300+ robots competing alongside 12,000 humans, the winning robot completed a half marathon in 50 minutes, faster than the human world record

We are entering a new era of human + machine collaboration.

The future is now!!!

Yenching Global Symposium 2026 – Panel 1 Reflection

At Climate Tech Lab, we are proud to be represented at the Yenching Global Symposium 2026 at Peking University, Beijing 🇨🇳, a global platform bringing together emerging leaders, innovators, and policymakers from across the world.

The symposium opened with a high-level panel discussion on:

“Emerging Technologies, Sustainability, and the Future of Innovation”

The session convened global experts from leading institutions including McKinsey & Company, Meta, global financial institutions, and energy advisory firms, exploring how technological advancement is reshaping industries and redefining sustainable development.

A central theme emerged clearly:

Innovation today sits at the intersection of economic growth, environmental sustainability, and global competitiveness.

From Artificial Intelligence to clean energy systems, the discussion highlighted how emerging technologies are:

* Transforming industries at scale
* Driving new economic opportunities
* Redefining how sustainability is approached globally

However, the panel also emphasized a critical responsibility:

Ensuring that innovation is inclusive, accessible, and responsive to real-world challenges

This conversation strongly aligns with our work at Climate Tech Lab.

As a climate-tech enterprise, we are leveraging drone technology and AI to:

* Support climate data and decision-making systems
* Strengthen disaster preparedness and response
* Advance climate resilience for communities

The discussion reinforced a key principle we stand by:

Technology must not only be advanced, it must be locally relevant and impactful.

As we continue engaging in global conversations at YGS 2026, we remain focused on one goal:

Bridging the gap between innovation and real-world climate solutions.

The future of sustainability will be shaped by how effectively we turn technology into impact.

Climate Tech Lab is part of that future.

Successfully Completed UAV & Drone Data Training

We are proud to share that our team at Climate Tech Lab has successfully completed a practical and theoretical training in Uncrewed Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Systems, Mission Planning, and RGB Data Processing with CAGE, one of Malawi’s leading drone and data companies.

This milestone strengthens our technical capacity to deploy drone technology for climate action, particularly in areas of disaster preparedness, monitoring, and response.

Through this training, we are now better equipped to:
• Map flood-prone and high-risk areas
• Support early warning systems with real-time data
• Improve disaster response through aerial assessments

At Climate Tech Lab, we believe that data-driven solutions are key to building resilient communities, and this marks a significant step in integrating technology into climate resilience systems in Malawi.

Thousands of voices. One message.
Climate justice cannot wait.

What we witnessed was more than a march it was a collective demand for action. Young people, communities, and organisations came together not just to speak, but to be heard.

At Climate Tech Lab, we are proud to have partnered in the Climate Justice March, standing alongside changemakers pushing for a future that is sustainable, inclusive, and just.

The movement has just begun, and we are going nowhere until we achieve climate justice

Climate Tech Lab at the Launch of the Circular Economy Network – Malawi

On the 30th October 2025, we had the privilege to be part of the launch of the Circular Economy Network–Malawi, a groundbreaking platform bringing together diverse stakeholders, from government agencies, civil society organizations, NGOs, academia, and recycling companies, all united by one mission: to accelerate Malawi’s transition toward a circular, sustainable, and waste-free economy.

The event marked an important step in aligning national efforts to promote responsible production, recycling innovation, and sustainable consumption.

As Climate Tech Lab, our work fits right at the intersection of technology, climate action, and the circular economy. We’re leveraging drone technology, data systems, and AI to support smarter waste mapping, resource recovery, and community-based environmental monitoring, helping shape a data-driven approach to sustainability.

Launching this network is more than symbolic, it’s a declaration that Malawi is ready to move from linear to circular, from waste to wealth, and from awareness to action.

We’re proud to stand alongside partners who believe in a future where innovation meets responsibility. Together, we can design a Malawi where nothing goes to waste. ♻️

Climate Tech Lab at LCOY Malawi 2025 — Youth Voices, Tech-Driven Futures

We were honored to take part in the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) Malawi 2025, convened by the Clean Cities Project, where 419 youth climate leaders came together to shape Malawi’s collective climate vision ahead of COY20 and COP30 in Brazil.

The discussions and the resulting National Youth Statement echoed the urgent call for:

- Accessible youth climate finance through a National Youth Climate Fund

- Scaling climate-smart agriculture and local innovation hubs

- Strengthening loss & damage response systems led by trained youth

- Integrating technology, data, and transparency into climate governance

It was inspiring to see fellow tech-based innovations such as E-Flood and Farmers App, both using digital tools to tackle climate-induced challenges in Malawi.

As Climate Tech Lab, we draw inspiration from these outcomes to advance our mission, using drones, artificial intelligence, and data technology to power climate-smart solutions, youth innovation, and resilient communities across Malawi.

Together, we’re not just talking about the future — we’re building it with technology, creativity, and care.
