Through our Health Education Unit, Sustainable Health Advocacy Development Education SHADE org, SHADE partnered with the National Screenwriters Guild, Nyasa Streams and Madsoc Theatre in a Skills Sharpening Project aimed at building the capacity of writers in telling stories. SHADE's objectives were to train writers in telling public health stories accurately and engagingly.
It was interesting to note some topics that arose from the Brainstorming Sessions and Concept Development Workshops:
- Dementia, and its effects on Elderly Mental Health
- Physical Trauma and Memory Loss
- Social Anxiety and Depression
- Cancer Awareness
The writers developed scripts which are concurrently in PreProduction.
