Last Friday, WeCare had the amazing opportunity attending an advocacy meeting hosted by the Malawi Girl Guides Association (MAGGA) in Blantyre. The focus? A game-changing innovation in HIV prevention and reproductive health — the Dual Prevention Pill (DPP)!

This pill is more than just a medical breakthrough — it’s a symbol of choice and empowerment for adolescent girls and young women. It protects against both HIV and unintended pregnancy, giving them control over their bodies and futures.

Huge shoutout to MAGGA and AVAC for leading this crucial conversation and making sure young voices are heard at the decision-making table. Let’s keep raising awareness, demanding access, and breaking down stigma around Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR).
