We're so excited to be sharing an exciting announcement on Day 2 of the Global Schools Symposium!
Applications for Cohort 8 of the Global Schools Advocates Program are now open. We can't wait to welcome more Advocates and educators into the Global Schools community, and we're excited to read your application.
The Global Schools Advocates Program seeks to:

*Train teachers and educators on the basic competencies of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD).
*Increase sustainable development literacy for teachers and give them ideas and the pedagogical frameworks to bring sustainable development into their classrooms.
*Create a global community of like-minded teachers and educators that can meet others from around the world who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of their students.
*Use lessons learned to build effective models and case-studies for future cohorts and the wider educational community.

Are you leading an initiative that is creating positive change in your community?

Applications are now open for the Global Changemaker Fellowship (GCF) 2026, a six-month programme designed to help changemakers strengthen and grow their social-impact initiatives.

Through the fellowship, participants gain access to:

Today, we participated in the Sankha Wekha PrEP Social Media Influencers engagement, organized by the National AIDS Commission Malawi.

The engagement focused on HIV prevention and Long-Acting Injectable PrEP (LEN PrEP)—an important HIV prevention option for people who are HIV-negative. LEN PrEP provides longer-lasting protection and offers an additional choice for people who may find daily oral PrEP challenging.

💡 Our key takeaway: Let’s stop spreading fake news and misinformation about HIV and AIDS.

As young people and social media users, we have a responsibility to share accurate information, challenge myths, reduce stigma and encourage our communities to access HIV prevention, testing and treatment services.

📢 Let’s use our platforms to educate, not misinform.
Let’s fight stigma, not people.
Let’s promote prevention, testing and treatment.
Together, let’s work towards ending HIV and AIDS. ❤️

Applications are open for fully funded youth scholarships to join the United Nations Chemicals and Waste Management Study Programme in Geneva.

Organized by the Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform in partnership with UNITAR, the programme is designed for young people interested in chemicals and waste management, environmental governance, sustainability, and international policy.

What Participants Can Expect:
