Over the past five years, Jhpiego has worked hand in hand with the Ministry of Health through the Project DOLO, with support from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This collaboration has shown the power of development and implementing partners working closely with government to deliver life-saving services.

Together, we have strengthened HIV prevention efforts in Lilongwe District by expanding access to safe and high-quality Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) services.

Jhpiego Malawi, with support from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, held the end-of-project dissemination meeting for Project DOLO on 10 September 2025 at Lilongwe Hotel.

Since October 2020, Project DOLO has supported the Government of Malawi in delivering high-quality Voluntary Medical Male Circumcision (VMMC) services in Lilongwe District as part of HIV prevention efforts.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, including government officials, partners, and community leaders, to reflect on five years of achievements, innovations, and lessons learned in scaling up VMMC services.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all partners and stakeholders who walked this journey with us. Your collaboration has been central to making a lasting impact on HIV prevention in Malawi.
