The IAAM project aims at combating poverty and food insecurity and as one way of achieving this it has employed a short term intervention of distributing relief items to vulnerable households as reported in this post by CDF Canada - IAAM Project. Issues of resilience must be tackled with both short term and long term interventions in mind because people must be in a good state in order to participate in development initiatives.

CAP, in collaboration with DoF, CDF Canada - IAAM Project, and DAES, has finalized its ToT sessions for master trainers hence project frontline staff. Held at NAC in Zomba and MAC in Mzuzu, the training combined classroom with practical set ups. As an integration project, specialists from aquaculture and agriculture at a district level were trained to full capacity mastering both the aquaculture and agriculture components, boosting efforts to improve service delivery.

Officers dedicated their time to understanding the project and its concepts to support implementation across the districts. This crucial step ensures the project's sustainable impact through knowledge transfer within government structures.

We celebrate this milestone with you and appreciate your continued support. As we continue to implement this project with capacitated staff.
