MACRO Takes Youth Voices to the National Youth Summit

Young people are at the centre of Malawi’s development conversation, and MACRO is right there with them.

MACRO is participating in the 2026 Malawi National Youth Summit and International Youth Day Commemoration at Bingu International Convention Centre, where its peer supporters are engaging fellow young people and stakeholders around issues that matter to their health, wellbeing and future.

Day 1 has brought together young people and key stakeholders under the theme, “Accelerating Progress: Reflecting on Impact, Expanding Prospects for Youth Development in Malawi”, bringing young people’s voices to the table, connecting them to services and turning conversations into meaningful action.

As the summit continues, MACRO remains committed to ensuring that young people are heard, supported and empowered to shape the Malawi they want, and offering free HIV services for the entire 3 days.
