At Orant, we believe that we cannot achieve lasting impact alone. That’s why we are committed to strengthening partnerships and collaborating with like-minded organizations.

Recently, we had the opportunity to collaborate with Temwa Malawi, strengthening our partnership and learning from each other’s experiences and approaches to program implementation.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and gain insights that we believe will help us strengthen our own programs and increase our impact in the communities we serve.

We look forward to continued collaboration, learning, and sharing as we work together towards creating sustainable and lasting change.

Water is life, and behind every functional borehole and healthier community are dedicated Area Mechanics and Sanitation Entrepreneurs. Area Mechanics help keep boreholes operational through preventive maintenance and timely repairs, while Sanitation Entrepreneurs provide affordable sanitation products and services that address local needs.

Last week, we equipped these community champions with essential tools and safety gear to strengthen their work and improve service delivery.

By investing in local expertise, we are helping ensure communities have reliable access to clean water and better sanitation for years to come.

Clean water is only the beginning!

Our WASH team recently completed a 5-day community sensitization campaign across 21 trading centres, using drama, music, and interactive discussions to promote hygiene and pump maintenance.

There’s so much more to share from the field. Look out for our Wednesday blog, where we will share the full story, key lessons, and community impact.
