To the 153 artists from 5 countries and 24 groupswho lit up NASFEST 2026 — thank you for your talent, energy, and unity. From Livingstonia Beach bonfires to the Botanic Garden stage, you made Moto wa Chikhalidwe real.

To everyone who planned to join us but couldn’t due to circumstances beyond your control — we felt your support and we hold your space for next time.

We hope Malawi gave you memories, friendships, and inspiration. This is not the end.

We can’t wait to host you again at the 18th Edition of NASFEST 2027!

We closed on a high note by presenting awards to the best-performing groups.

Hwamanda Dance Troupe from Zimbabwe claimed 1st position, followed by Tao Edu-tainment Center from Zambia in 2nd place, while Pamphata Cultural Troupe secured 3rd place.

All participating groups were also awarded certificates of participation in recognition of their talent and contribution to the festival.
