EMUNI STUDENTS HAND OVER CLASSROOM-MANUFACTURED FERTILISER IN ENTREPRENEURIAL MILESTONE
π± A proud moment for practical education! Our DPED Year 8 students have officially handed over their well-packaged "Mlera Nthaka" bio-fertiliser to university administration - marking the successful completion of their manufacturing practicals!
This isn't just an academic exercise - it's the foundation for future entrepreneurship. Under lecturer Clara Menson's guidance, these future educators have gained hands-on experience in fertiliser production and packaging, preparing them to start their own agricultural enterprises.
During the handover ceremony, Ipyana Mkandawire received the products and emphasized the importance of the entrepreneurial skills the university is instilling through such practical programs.
Student Grace Phiri shared: "We're now equipped to create opportunities using locally available resources."
The fertiliser project is part of a comprehensive skills program that also includes pesticide production and irrigation system installation - creating complete agricultural solution providers!
