This week, We are constructing a wire fence to secure our garden as we prepare to establish tree nursery beds and vegetable gardens. This important step will help protect young seedlings, improve the management of the site, and create a safe space for sustainable environmental and agricultural activities led by young people.

Through this initiative, we are promoting climate resilience, environmental conservation, and youth livelihoods by empowering young people with practical skills in tree growing and vegetable production. The Green Garden will contribute to a cleaner, greener Mtandile while supporting food security, community participation, and a healthier environment for everyone.
