Unveiling Our Second Project of 2026: "Nzanga"
Good Morning, family, friends, and fellow artists.
Today is special. In May, the Cruise Art Movement turns three. Three years of painting ideas into reality, of turning empty stages into moments, and of proving that art is not a solo journey.
Three years ago we started with nothing but belief: belief in each other, belief in the work, and belief that Lilongwe needed a new kind of creative home. Look around you now. That belief built this community.
So it’s only right that as we mark our 3rd anniversary, our second project of 2026 speaks directly to what got us here: friendship.
We are proud to introduce *"Nzanga"
"Nzanga" means "my friend" in Chichewa, and this song is our tribute to the people who walk with us toward the future. It’s about the ones who call you out when you’re wrong and lift you up when you’re tired. The ones who share beats, brushes, mics, and dreams. The ones who remind you that no vision is too big when you don’t have to carry it alone.
As artists, we know the road to your future is never a straight line. There are doubts, delays, and days when inspiration goes quiet. But friends are the compass. They point you back to yourself. "Nzanga" puts that truth into melody. It’s gratitude, it’s celebration, and it’s a promise that we keep building together.
To everyone who has been part of these three years, whether you were here on day one or joined us last week: you are "Nzanga". This movement lives because of you.
So as we step into year four, we do it with new music, deeper bonds, and the same mission: create boldly, and never create alone.
Happy 3rd anniversary, Cruise Art Movement. And welcome to "Nzanga".
Zikomo kwambiri.
