We met Gabriel Kalenga in Dzaleka Refugee Camp. He lives here with his single mom. He had to quit school because they just couldn’t afford it anymore.

Then ROHO Project stepped in, thanks to a generous donation from Mama Veronica 📚

Now Gabriel is back in class. He’s learning, smiling, and full of hope again.

We are sharing this because we saw it with our own eyes. This is what happens when people like Mama Veronica support ROHO Project - kids like Gabriel get their future back.

We sat on the ground because that’s where the truth lives.

In Palankwale Village, there are no offices, no conference rooms, no polished reports. Just people sitting outside their homes, waiting to be heard. Elders, mothers, youth each carrying stories of resilience, loss, and quiet hope.

This is what Roots of Hope looks like in real life.

We go door to door not to promise quick fixes, but to listen first. We ask about food, education, health, livelihoods and we hear the same message again and again:

‎Last week, one of our donors, Thiago from Brazil, had the opportunity to visit Malawi and personally meet some of the children supported by "Adopt a Future", including the child he sponsors through education.
‎
‎More than just a visit, it was a moment to witness the real impact that collective support can create. Through this project, children who previously had limited access to education are now attending school, building dreams, and gaining new opportunities for the future.

‎During his time in Malawi, Thiago also met with members of our organization and learned more about the vision, the challenges, and the purpose behind the project. Moments like this reinforce the importance of transparency, human connection, and collective action.
