Interview: Fanja Razakaboana, Chairperson of COMFWB Madagascar, Featured by
————-

In a recent interview with the National Council of Women of Madagascar (CNFM), Fanja Razakaboana reflected on a career dedicated to advancing the Malagasy private sector through her leadership in employer organizations and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

As the founder and current president of Groupement des Femmes Entrepreneurs de Madagascar officiel - GFEM, Ms. Razakaboana represents Malagasy women entrepreneurs interests within the COMESA Federation of Women in Business. Her influence has expanded to a continental level through her role in the Continental Network of Women Business Associations in Africa (CONWOBAA)—an ITC initiative uniting female business leaders across the continent. She views this dual involvement as a testament to the rising prominence of Malagasy women’s entrepreneurship regionally.

Attributing her success to integrity and faith, Ms. Razakaboana views her life’s mission as empowering women through resilience, dynamism, and empathy. She concluded by highlighting that diversity and the embrace of differences are not just social values, but essential drivers of organizational performance.
