Laudato Si Movement Malawi

This month, our Monthly Prayer Guide accompanies us deeper into this journey of conversion.

Inspired by Pope Leo XIV’s September prayer intention, the guide invites us to unite our prayer with the Holy Father and the universal Church, connecting our spiritual lives with our responsibility to care for one another and for creation.

May this Season of Creation be more than something we celebrate. May it become holy ground—a time to encounter Christ, allow our hearts to be renewed, and let that transformation flow into the world around us.

Laudato Si': A Hymn of Hope for Earth

In a world where nature's whispers wane,
Pope Francis penned a plea, a guiding flame,
"Laudato si'", a call to hearts and minds,
To where ecology and ethics entwined.

"Listen," he beckons, as the Earth sighs,
A tale of interwoven threads and ties,
Of forests felled, and oceans stained with sorrow,
A plea for change, for a brighter tomorrow.

In words that dance with wisdom's grace,
He paints a vision of a fragile place,
Where human hands have marred the land,
And nature's cries we must understand.

Integral ecology, the song he sings,
Where earth and soul unite on wings,
Of dialogue deep, where voices blend,
In unity our broken world to mend.

So let us heed this sacred call,
To rise, to act, before we fall,
For in our hands, the power resides,
To heal our home, where love abides.

"Laudato si'", a hymn of hope and care,
To echo through the skies, the land, the air,
A reminder of our shared destiny,
To cherish Earth, our common legacy.
