This maize garden was grown using animal manure mixed with self-made, charged biochar—proof that simple, locally available resources can restore soil fertility and improve yields.

“Manure and biochar may look simple, but in the hands of informed farmers, they become powerful tools for change.”

🙏 A Blessed Visit from Kolping Leaders 🙏

This year, we were truly blessed to be visited by Mr. Volker, who served as the Kolping Desk Officer for Africa, and Nikklas, now the Kolping Desk Officer for Malawi. During their visit, they appreciated the activities of Kolping Malawi and had meaningful discussions with Kolping members from various areas.

Their presence strengthened our spirit of unity, faith, and service, reminding us that Kolping is one family beyond borders. We are grateful for their encouragement and guidance as we continue to promote the dignity of work, community empowerment, and faithful service.

🟧 Why Kolping Uses the Orange Colour 🟧

Orange is more than just a colour for us in Kolping. It represents hope for a better future, energy for hard work, and faith put into action. It reminds us of our commitment to serve families and communities, promote self-reliance, and stand in solidarity with one another.

Inspired by the teachings of Blessed Adolf Kolping, orange symbolizes joy in service, dignity of work, and the transformation of society through love and responsibility.

🧡 Kolping: Faith in action, hope in work, unity in service.
