A Dream Begun, A Mission Continued
Today, we are proud to share the progress of the Likuchi Primary School Project, an initiative of the Banonie Mwale Foundation (BM.FOUNDATION).
Our vision from the beginning was to construct four school blocks with a total of eight classrooms, together with a dedicated teachers' office.
Although we have not yet achieved this full vision, we are grateful to have successfully completed two school blocks containing four classrooms.
The school was officially opened on 25 January 2025 in partnership with the Government of Malawi. We sincerely appreciate the Government's support in making this dream a reality by deploying qualified teachers and covering the school's operational costs.
Currently, one of the classrooms is being used as the teachers' office, demonstrating the continued need for additional classrooms and a dedicated administration block.
This partnership allows BM.FOUNDATION to focus our efforts on what we do best—mobilizing resources to construct the remaining school blocks and provide a better learning environment for the children of Likuchi.
We are pleased to announce that BM.FOUNDATION will soon become active again to continue this project from where we stopped. With the continued support of our partners, friends, and well-wishers, we are confident that together we can complete this important mission.
Every classroom we build creates opportunities. Every child who learns in a safe and conducive environment brings us one step closer to a brighter future for Malawi.
Together, we are not just building classrooms—we are building hope, opportunity, and the leaders of tomorrow.
