Sometimes the beginning doesn’t look perfect… but it carries the most powerful story. 💛

We may be sitting on the floor, with no proper setup yet, but today we took our first step. A Good Samaritan blessed us with sewing machines, and today we began training each other learning, growing, and lifting one another up.

These are single and teen mothers who refused to give up. With every stitch we learn, we are sewing hope, strength, and a better future for our children. 🧵✨

It’s not about how it looks right now… it’s about where we are going. And we believe this is just the beginning.

Thank you for believing in us and giving us a chance to rise. 🙏🏾

Today, we successfully held our first opening year briefing meeting. We thank God for His guidance and for a smooth and impactful start.

SheRise Foundation continues to support and empower teen mothers, single mothers, school drop-out girls, r**e victims, and SGBV survivors through counseling, leadership, and community-based support.

This marks the beginning of a year committed to healing, resilience, empowerment, and hope.

Today’s training brought together teen mothers and single mothers for an impactful session on Sexual and Reproductive Health. The program focused on educating participants about their rights, bodily autonomy, family planning, and access to health services. Through open discussions and interactive learning, the women gained essential knowledge to make informed decisions and advocate for their well-being and that of their children.

We were honored to welcome a distinguished guest from the Department of Social Welfare, whose presence highlighted the importance of institutional support in empowering young and single mothers. Their encouragement and insights added great value to the session, reinforcing the message that these women are not alone in their journey. Together, we are fostering a safe, informed, and supportive environment for a brighter and healthier future.
